Chuck Schumer pretty much tops the list of people in Washington, D.C. who are despised by people who value freedom and government accountability. If you know his record and what he’s tried to do in Washington, then you can completely understand their dislike of him.
A recent statement by Schumer isn’t going to make these voters improve their opinion of him. In fact, it may cause him to go down in history as the man responsible for sinking the American republic. Zachary Stieber gives us the infuriating details:
The Senate will vote on a bill that would dramatically change how elections are run next month, the body’s top Democrat said Friday.
S. 1, also known as the For the People Act, will be voted on during the last full week in June, Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) told Democratic colleagues in a memorandum.
Schumer called the bill, which mirrors a version the House of Representatives passed in March, “legislation that is essential to defending our democracy, reducing the influence of dark money and powerful special interests, and stopping the wave of Republican voter suppression happening in states across the country.”
The act would federalize components of the election system, eliminating nearly all qualifications such as photo identification. It would also require states to implement a system of automatic voter registration and to allow same-day registration on any day voting is allowed.
Critics have promised to bring a flood of lawsuits if it’s passed by the Senate and signed into law by President Joe Biden.
Let’s not mince words. This bill has nothing to do with protecting democracy and has everything to do with protecting Democrats by making vote fraud as easy and widespread as possible. We saw it in the November 2020 election and the January 2021 runoff election, and this bill would make that same fraud that we saw in key states in those elections a nationwide reality.
If this bill passes, it really could mean that America as we know it, with the freedoms that we love, could quickly disappear forever. Comrade Schumer could be the lynchpin in the red revolution in America.
