This is what we know so far…
A new rule has been enacted by the Commission on Presidential Debates stating that during the final presidential debate, the microphones of the candidate who is not speaking will be muted.
A statement provided by the Commission states: “The Commission has determined that it is appropriate to adopt measures intended to promote adherence to agreed upon rules and inappropriate to make changes to those rules.”

The Commission has also announced that Kristen Welker will be the moderator of the debate. Welker has known ties to the Democratic Party which has prompted Trump in stating that the odds are against him, but that he will “still play the game.”
She’s always been terrible & unfair, just like most of the Fake News reporters, but I’ll still play the game. The people know! How’s Steve Scully doing? https://t.co/uS3EWzfFPy
