Generally an anniversary celebrates a happy occasion, but they can also commemorate a tragedy. Even worse is that there are some individuals that would still celebrate events that cost people their lives.
Such is the case in Colorado as the anniversary of the 1999 Columbine High School shooting draws near.
Tensions are running very high as authorities search for a woman believed to be “infatuated” with the event and may seek to recreate the horrible offense.
18-year-old Sol Pais is believed to have traveled to Colorado with firearms and intent leading to local authorities to conduct a manhunt. Roughly 5-foot-5 with brown hair, Pais was last seen in the foothills of Jefferson County wearing camouflage pants, a black T-shirt and black boots.
The manhunt has grown to “massive” proportions according to Dean Phillips, the special agent in charge of the Denver FBI.
Pais is originally from Miami and the Miami FBI has just issued a warning to the Denver branch.
The Columbine shooting’s 20-year anniversary is this Saturday.
