Democrats across the board including House Speaker Nancy Pelosi still struggle with the idea that they can’t just tell the president what to do.
Pelosi recently got derided by Trump when she mistakingly thought she could dictate what the president did and did not post to his personal Twitter account.
This bout began when Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar referred to the attacks of 9/11 as “some people” who “did something” and refused to label the attackers terrorists.
Trump responded to the outrageous views by posting a video that showed the contrast of Omar’s remarks against footage of the attacks along with the words “WE WILL NEVER FORGET!”
Apparently this truth is too harsh for the sensitive types on the left and Pelosi released a statement ordering Trump to remove the post.
“The President’s words weigh a ton, and his hateful and inflammatory rhetoric creates real danger. President Trump must take down his disrespectful and dangerous video,” Pelosi stated.
Pelosi seems to be confused about who is president, in order to remind her Trump pinned the tweet to the top of his profile for all to see.
While he has since unpinned the post, he has not taken it down and it still remains up for all (and especially Pelosi) to see.
