If you can’t have your way, quit and work for the other team is apparently the message Republican Senator Mike Lee wants to send.
Lee recently spoke on how he attempted to to introduce a bill that would allow President Trump’s emergency declaration to remain in place, at the cost of limiting the national emergency power of the Executive branch for the rest of the foreseeable future.
Understandably, Trump didn’t go for the ridiculously bad deal.
“We tried to cut a deal, the president didn’t appear interested,” Lee shared with The Hill.
It seems this rejection has bruised Lee’s ego as he declares that “I’ll be voting ‘yes,'” on a resolution to end Trump’s national emergency.
